Yosegi Coin Box

I recently took a trip home to Japan and brought back souvenirs to share with the QTTE customers! I got to visit beautiful mountains of Hakone during my stay in Japan where the practice and craft of yosegi-zaiku originated. Yosegi-zaiku is a traditional Japanese marquetry technique which was developed during Japan’s Edo period. Using different grains, colors and textures of wood, mosaic designs are made. This item is a yosegi coin box in which you can vanish or produce a coin. Includes instructions in Japanese. Handmade in Japan. Only one available!
