Extensive and detailed instructions for popular effects are included, which occasionally feature crude drawings. Ex-libris Dion Matthews (who we believe to be the writer and compiler of the book), gifted to Eddie Dawes by Bryan Houghton, with a gift notation pasted down, and signed by Houghton. Over 100 pages, and including a handwritten index of the contents on the first leaf. Hinges loose, chips to spine, fair to poor condition, but a unique document of mid-century British magic effects.
