Robert Powell, The Fire Eater Engraving

Engraving of the well-known English performer who swallowed fire, hot coals, melted sealing wax, and (reportedly) brimstone. This engraving is probably from "Portraits and Faces of Remarkable and Eccentric Characters of London," published in 1819. Noted in pencil is Powell's name and year of death (1780). A few spots and toning at edges.
