Spurlock's short-lived career began with a giant order placed with the Abbott Magic Co. of Colon, Michigan. The company constructed an entire illusion show for him, featuring many of the effects pictured in this poster. When he debuted the production at the annual Abbott Magic Get-Together, the show was clearly not up to snuff. As such, his showbusiness career was not long lasting.
