Partial contract for T. Nelson Downs with the Palace Theatre, where he gained his fame as a magician. He was paid twenty-five pounds per week for seven performances over eight weeks. Paper trimmed with chips, glue residue on verso, fair condition. It was at this famous London theater that Downs truly established himself as the "specialty" act he is still remembered as. A historically significant document!
