The Book of Wonders

Bound in modern green boards with blue cloth spine. Likely clipped from a drawing-room magazine of sorts, the edges of pages have been trimmed. Date is likely between 1851 and 1855 due to the inclusion of an advert for Gleason's Pictorial. Illustrated with engravings, this pamphlet describes a variety of "Wonders," from a method of Chinese torture to the Druids to a great sea serpent. 32 pages. Some wear and toning to boards, pages with some soiling and toning. Good.
