The magician borrows a dollar bill and folds it around a pencil, cradling the pencil in the fold. The pencil instantly penetrates the bill, ending completely on the outside. The magician again wraps the bill around the pencil. The pencil then slowly and visually cuts through the bill with no damage to either object. The bill is returned unharmed to its owner.
