Himber's Mexican Monte

A three-card monte type effect with coins, where the coins keep switching their places under playing cards, and finally are transformed entirely at the end. Includes the leather drawstring pouch and instructions. Some of the coins show wear, else in good condition. The first one we have ever encountered, including a silver gimmicked Mexican peso and all necessary coins. Here is Himber’s original advertising from 1966: The BIG BRAIN burst in with his usual entrance screaming "I just showed Don Alan!" . . . "I know, I know," I answered in a bored tone, "He liked it so much that he bought two and you're a genius!" "All right funny man," Himber snarled, "WATCH!" as he laid down a copper coin and a silver coin and covered each with a playing card. "Where's the copper coin?" Himber continued. I pointed and he turned over the card and sneered, "There are only two silver coins . . . no copper coins at all." Shaking out a gold coin from a luscious suede pouch he said, "Let's put this under the card." "Where is it?" he asked. I failed again as he STILL showed me two silver coins. He then placed the two silver coins in the empty pouch and out came two GOLD coins and only one SILVER coin. He laid the coins in my hand and asked me to examine the pouch and the cards. "EXPLAIN THAT," he cracked, and then left. I love to rile him as it's then he does his best magic. I know it's the coins as HIMBER does not do sleights, but I could find nothing wrong.
