A pack of cards placed in the holder is cut into three pieces by inserting cards into two slots in the holer. The deck is then "zig-zagged" into three pieces ala Harbin's famous stage illusion. The process is reversed, and the deck is removed from the holder unharmed. One cover card chipped, but this may be replaced with any other spare poker-size card you own.
