CONDITION

Please note that most of our products are used, vintage, one of a kind, or rare. We have done our best to describe any flaws, defects, or restoration; however, condition ratings are subjective, and we encourage you to contact us with any questions prior to your purchase.

Each product listing contains an assessment of condition using accepted standards, as follows.

Books

Fine
Approaches new condition; possibly never used. No visible signs of wear.

Near Fine
One or two faults, not significant enough to deter from overall condition.

Very Good
Shows some small signs of wear, sometimes with minor repairs.

Good
Shows further signs of wear and tear, sometimes with visible or repairs.

Fair
Shows significant wear and tear, sometimes with heavy or visible restoration; books may lack pages or components.

Poor
Sufficiently worn with significant loss of pages, components, or function. Possibly with significant areas of visible restoration.

Ephemera, Prints, and Apparatus

Mint
Approaches new condition; possibly never used. No visible sign of wear.

Excellent
One or two faults, not significant enough to deter from overall condition.

Very Good
Shows some small signs of wear.

Good
Shows further signs of wear.

Fair
Shows significant wear.

Poor
Sufficiently worn with significant loss of components or function.

Posters

These designations are frequently followed by a plus (+) or minus (-) symbol where appropriate.

Condition A
In a similar state as when printed. Colors are bright and crisp and there is no significant paper loss or tearing. There may be slight blemishes, creases, or scuffs.

Condition B
In good condition, with some restoration (including repaired tears and overcoloring), but this is not readily apparent. There may be some discoloration and/or fading.

Condition C
Shows wear or heavy restoration. Fading and discoloration may be more pronounced; repair, folds, creases, and flaking may be visible, and there may be losses or significant areas of restoration.
