Collection of illustrated instruction sheets issued by Will Goldston, laid into the binder intended to collect these "scraps." Includes a tipped in letter from Goldston to the original owner of this scrapbook, H.L. Metters, with enclosed instruction sheets. Interesting to note, the letter from Goldston addressed H.L. Metters on the H.M.S. Constance, dated 1917, indicating this collector was on active duty during World War I. It's possible, though a bit of a stretch, to say that this scrapbook may have survived the Battle of Jutland, though specific timing of publication and acquisition can not be proven. Incomplete collection of scraps with multiple blank pages at rear. Folio heavily soiled, with water damage; pages toned, but mostly clean. Fair condition overall. Uncommon.
