Dr. Dale's Bewildering Blocks
- Manufacturer: Dale Fiester
- Date: ca. 2000
- Size: Blocks 2.175" cubes, tube height 13.5"
- Condition: Good
Certainly one of the best-made versions of the Cuba Libre trick ever constructed. In a fitted wooden case lined in fabric with the maker's name plate inside the lid. Invented by Selbit as the "magic bricks" this version incorporates a stack of six numbered blocks inside a tube that just covers them, and a matching set outside the tube. No matter how the blocks are rearranged outside of the tube, the matching set rearranges itself to match even though it is out of reach and inside the tube. This happens repeatedly, in an increasingly baffling manner. A favorite of Bob Sheets and others. Expertly made from Includes instructions and other paperwork related to the performance of the effect. Works exceptionally well (with the release trigger well concealed and smooth in working). The yellow finish (especially on the metal shells) shows wear from use.
