Based on an idea by El Barto (James Barton), Thayer developed the first "Sucker Billiard Ball Box" with two new principles in addition to the sliding effect. The white ball placed in one compartment of the cabinet moves back and forth to the other compartment before vanishing and reappearing elsewhere. Far more difficult to find than the Thayer Die Box.
