This scrapbook contains a compendium of advertisements from the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company the began in 1933. The series "It's Fun to be Fooled But Its Better to Know" was an attack at Lucky Strike Ciargettes that revealed the secrets of magaician's illusions to demonstrate that Camel cigarettes had nothing to hide. Each advertisment is cut out and laid down nicely by reinforcement stickers. Several clippings from the Cleavland Plain Dealer are not laid down and are instered between the back pages of the scrapbook. These clippings exhibit magicians such as Harry Blackstone and Cardini performing tricks step by step. The advertisement clippings are in very good condition while the others have more wear such as tears, creases and chips. The wrappers of the scrapbook are worn along the edges and toned. Overall good condition.
