Printed on pink paper, this contract used in San Antonio, Texas, promised one hundred dollars a week to K.F. Chubb for his work as a carpenter with the Blackstone Company. This was a general contract used for theatrical employees created by the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employes and Moving Picture Machine Operators of the United States and Canada (IATSE). Handwritten note signed on reverse by Harry Blackstone reads, "This contract allows an extra pay of three dollars a day traveling expenses." Folded with other creasing particularly along left edge with a few small chips. Some toning to edges. Good condition.
